Overall Personality: Hateful. Is only one word to describe the complex person that is Vanity. She can be a very cruel person. She can turn her back on someone who seems to be trying to be nice to her without a second thought if she doesn't trust that the person has good intentions about becoming friends with her. She can brush someone off without even really caring that this person was once her friend. It is like her heart is a block of ice at times. Temper-Mental. Vanity is a very temper-mental person taking after her mother in that aspect of her personality. Though she doesn't know who her mother is. Vanity doesn't give a hoot one way or another if her temper-mental part of her personality hurts people. Infact she loves that part about herself. Vanity is like a ticking time bomb ready to go off. The smallest things can set her off though she has some semblance of control even though she has been living for relitivly one thousand something years. Her exact age is unknown as well as her birthday but she places herself around one thousand six hundred something years. Yet still her temper slips up.
Jealous. Vanity is a very jealous person and can't really stand to share her friends. Though they are few and inbetween. She doesn't like this part of her personality even though its another aspect from her mother. She doesn't really understand why she is so jealous while at the same time she knows its because of her mother. Jealousy is an easy emotion for Vanity to show because usually it brings out her temper that she so loves to show off. Her ticking time bomb ways are an easy fire way for her to get what she wants even if she has to kill to do so. Schizophrenia. Vanity also suffers from Schizophrenia which gives her most of the time the flat affect or not being able to show any emotion. Bizarre motor behavior in which there is less reaction to the environment, False beliefs or thoughts that have nothing to do with reality (delusions), Hearing, seeing, or feeling things that are not there (hallucinations), Thoughts "jump" between unrelated topics (disordered thinking). She gets aggitated very easy and can't feel physical pain. She has alot of anger and anxiety and is very arguemenative. She is sometimes subjected to child-like behavior, inappropriate laughter, incoherence, repetitive behaviors, and social withdrawal.
Relatives:
Mother - Unknown
Father - Unknown
Adoptive Father - Alexander III of Macedon
Overall History: Adopted at the age of thirteen, Vanity was lost and wandering the streets of Greece until Alexander III of Macedon found her, seeing as he had yet to find an heir the young demon girl was just what he was looking for. This did not sit well with his wives. A young girl with a tendencies to throw tantrums as well as objects made them un-easy and only wanted the girl gone. She loved every moment of it. Even when servants came up missing they never suspected that the girl that Alexander had taken into his home was a demon. A power hungry one at that. Once Vanity was seventeen and Alexander was away on one of his many trips Vanity took over the running of the palace. His wives had no say and the retainers where too afraid of her to dictate her decision. Alexander was the only one who seemed to be able to temper the young woman. Her tempermental and violent nature usually showing around his wives.
Unfortunatly Alexander died in Babylon in 323 BC. His empire was torn apart in a series of civil wars. One small part of his Empire was left as her own. And she was over-joyed that Greece was left to her, but she wouldn't keep something that had belonged to her father Alexander. Even if she wanted the entire empire she knew that it wasn't her place to stand in the way of the chaos that would ensue after Alexanders death. For two hundred years vanity disappeared, roaming the country side of Greece before making her way to Rome. 106 BC. She was there for the Birth of Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus who later became known as Pompey the Great. She became his teacher a playmate of sorts for Pompey until he turned 16 and realized she had not aged since he first remembered her. She had no choice but to tell him the truth about her. He was over-joyed yet scared at the same time. He told her that when he was older he would one day marry her. She laughed at him. She knew that it was not meant to be.
But when he turned 18 he became bored and joined the army. And established himself in the ranks of Roman nobility by successful leadership in several campaigns. She laughed when years later she heard of his marriage to the daughter of Gaius Julius Caesar, Julia. She had known that Pompey's crush was only fleeting. But when she heard of Prince Ptolemy and his ordering of Pompey's assassination. she went back to Egypt. Where she met Gaius Julius Caesar for the first time. He was as enraged as she was over the death of Pompey. She told him who she was and together they overtook Egypt, with the help of Cleopatra. Ceaser found nothing wrong with a woman next to him on the battlefield which she very much enjoyed. Sure she didn't say much and she stayed close to Ceaser but he was great company. After her vengence upon Ptolomey her journey took her to China where she learned the art of Taoism. And found the middle path. But as a demon, was not aloud to enter threw Heaven's final gate.
Time passed by in what seemed like a blink of an eye until she found herself in america. Which is where she thought she would stay. She made her way across the states as the years past, the west slowly drawing her in to the great beyond until finally during the year 2011 she discovered the wonders of Los Vegas. She found that she loved Sin City and found that she wanted more than anything to settle down for once and cause mass Chaos. She started her own Faction of Demon's known as The Deviants. And it is here that she will remain.

Galatea was in her own little world as she skipped threw the park. She was in a fantastic mood and she wanted to dance. She always wanted to dance it was engrained so well into her being that she couldn't think about anything other than swaying bodies and sweet music that would sound around them as they danced. Yet she had no one to dance with but that didn't stop her as she moved and skipped and hummed as she cut threw the snow not leaving any footprints in her wake and she giggled to herself. She was such a happy person and she knew that things where perfect even though she was dead. And then she caught sight of something that threw her off guard. She watched as a couple passed right by her. She was invisible to the human eyes even though she was completely solid at the moment. She wasn't transparent as she usually was when she grew sad. She usually wasn't a sad person but as she sat and watched the people walk by she couldn't help but feel sadness as she watched the couple and wished that it was her instead of the girl. She wished that it was her holding the boys hand and laughing and snuggling. That was her one wish, her one true desire. To love and be loved. She wanted that more than anything. But love had been taken from her a very short while ago. Only a few weeks before she had been human and yet now here she stood in the park as dead as can be. She was a ghost. Though she smiled and laughed and giggled there wasn't much else to her. You had to look close to see the growing sadness in her eyes. She wasn't one to really open up about sadness and she never really knew how to tell people that she was upset. She was no longer alive, she was no longer apart of this world and yet she was apart of this world. She was here yet not here. How could someone love a ghost? How could someone love her if she wasn't alive? These questions she had asked herself even since the day she had taken her own life. Most people had asked at her funeral, why? Why had she taken her own life? The answer was a simple one.
Love. Love had made her do what she had done. Love and heartbreak. She had been so heartbroken that the love of her life had left her and she would never be with him again. He broke her the day he left her for her best friend. Her best friend who had promised her everything. They had told each other secrets and they had laughed and cried since middle school. And yet she had been secretly plotting behind her back to ruin her life. Ruin everything that had made her happy. And Michael had made her happy. She couldn't think of another time that she had ever been so happy and yet at the same time, when had she not been happy? She had had a good life, a good family. That is until her father had started drinking, and yet the oblivious young blonde had not even noticed that her father was falling into a depression. It made no difference to Galatea. Her parents where never around as it was. And now that she was dead she didn't even visit them. Time had taken away what she had had with her parents. Even though it was a short time ago and that she knew she should still love her parents she didn't mourn the loss of them. Why would she mourn the loss of someone who didn't want to mourn her? Her father had drank at her funeral the entire time. Her mother was already planning another party and she knew that she wouldn't be missed by her parents. Galatea didn't have many friends that even showed up for her funeral. She felt so alone in the world now and even then she still smiled. She still smiled even though she was in pain. "The two of us, smiling, meet here, Every heart has a habit of receiving its dreams. Sadness has no effect on us, Every heart gains happiness when it flies." She muttered to herself wishing that it was true.
She then almost passed a swing set and then cocked her head to the side and smiled sadly and sat down on the swing and started to swing back and forth. The creeking sound coming from the old iron links calmed her and made her think of elementary school. Back when it didn't matter if you where pretty or popular. Back when nothing mattered except making new friends and having fun. She missed that, she missed that time which now seemed so long ago. She missed everything and more about what her life had been like that long time ago. She wanted to go back to that. She wanted to go back to the living and live her life once more. She understood the concept of a human life now. That it meant more to this world than she could have ever imagined. This was going to be a long night and she wasn't ready to see the day once again. Not until she faded away. She just wanted to fade away. She felt meaningless, useless and un-needed. This world didn't seem to hold a purpose for her anymore. She was a figment of the imagination now. She wasn't real, she was only a thing that shouldn't exhist anymore. She had never believed in ghosts and now she was one of them. The supernatural world had never seemed real other than inside a book. Something she had never really read. And now that she was part of this world she wanted to know more. She wanted to feel like part of this world. Part of someone's world.
